Shanda Lee hails from Northern Alberta, where music was seamlessly intertwined with family and everyday life. For her, music was something that simply resonated on a different level. She learned piano early, watched her dad play guitar, and eventually picked one up herself around the age of twelve, and has been writing songs ever since. Now rooted on Vancouver Island, her quietly evolving songwriting and music remain at the forefront, ready to be shared. 

Her music draws on genuine reflections from life and its oddities, carefully crafted to allow listeners to find their own stories. 

Though her playlist of inspiration is a vast array, from Greta Van Fleet to Mumford and Sons, her music lands somewhere in the warm, acoustic-leaning world of Vance Joy and Noah Kahan.
